AI product photography · Fashion ecommerce

Product photography that doesn't need another shoot.

Use the garment photography you already have as the starting point for on-model product images, catalogue shots and marketing assets — produced at the pace your range actually moves.

Produced by Shootless — no studio, no model booking, no physical shoot.

Most AI product photography tools were built for hard goods: a bottle, a candle, a pair of headphones on a generated tabletop. Fashion is harder. A garment has to sit on a body, drape correctly, keep its print and colour, and look like something a customer would actually receive.

Shootless is built specifically for apparel. It starts from real product imagery — flat-lay or ghost-mannequin — and produces on-model photography that keeps the garment at the centre, with the model, environment, lighting and styling directed around it.

What you get

PDP-ready on-model shots

Clean front, back and detail-led on-model images for product pages, on white or your brand's studio colour.

Catalogue scale

Apply the same creative direction across collections and hundreds of SKUs without rebriefing image by image.

Lifestyle extensions

Move the same product into editorial, lifestyle and campaign contexts for homepages, email and social.

Consistent casting

Use the same model across a range so every product page looks like it came from the same shoot.

The workflow

From garment to published in six stages.

  1. 01

    Product assets

Your existing flat-lay or ghost-mannequin photography is the starting point. No samples to ship, no new shoot.

  2. 02

    Asset preparation

The platform builds an understanding of the garment's fabric, silhouette and construction from your images.

  3. 03

    Creative direction

You define model, setting, lighting, mood and composition — entered directly as the brief.

  4. 04

    Generation

Imagery is produced and iterated across directions, models and settings in parallel.

  5. 05

    Review & approval

Your team reviews every image against the product and signs off, on any device.

  6. 06

    Export & publish

Finished assets are delivered for ecommerce, editorial, social and campaign.

Fashion product photography, rebuilt around the garment

Traditional product photography for fashion is a chain of dependencies: samples arrive, a studio is booked, a model is cast, a stylist dresses, a photographer shoots, a retoucher cleans up. Each link adds lead time, cost and the risk that one rescheduled day pushes everything downstream.

Shootless collapses that chain. Your product asset is the input, your creative direction is the brief, and the platform handles generation, iteration and delivery. Your team keeps creative control — choosing the look, reviewing every image and signing off — without managing a production.

That makes it practical to photograph everything on-model, not just the hero products that justified a studio day.

Built by people who know production

Not just prompting an image generator.

Shootless is built by Third Axis Creative, a commercial content production consultancy in Peterborough, UK. The team spent years on traditional fashion sets — sourcing samples, booking studios, managing crews — before building the technology to remove the parts of that process that no longer need to exist. That experience is why the platform is built around lighting, fabric, posing and campaign composition, and around the real garment you sell.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as a generic AI image generator?

No. Shootless is a production workflow built around real garments. The product image you supply is the reference for every output, rather than an AI inventing a product from a text description.

Can I get images on a plain white background?

Yes. Clean white or coloured studio backgrounds are standard for PDP imagery, and the same product can then be placed into lifestyle and campaign settings.

Which product types work best?

Shootless is designed for apparel — dresses, tops, tailoring, denim, swimwear, bridal and occasionwear. If you have an unusual category, talk to us and we will tell you honestly how well it will work.

Do I still need a photographer?

You need clean product photography of the garment, such as flat-lay or ghost-mannequin images. Many brands already produce these for listings; Shootless takes them on-model.

Where are you based?

Shootless is built by Third Axis Creative in Peterborough, UK, and works with brands across the UK and beyond.
